Area- All together the islands cover 261 sq. km .
Weather- The weather is very hot all year with temperatures in the high eighties during the day,but cooling off at night
It rains a lot.
Climate- The Caribbean Islands have a tropical climate. It is very humid . It is not very windy , and does not have that many clouds .
Landforms- Limestone plateaus, some are volcanic islands with black sands, others have white sand beaches, and muddy sea coasts. There are the mountainous areas as well as other areas are formed out of ancient rock. Many of the Caribbean countries are subject to earthquakes, volcanes and small-scale geothermal activity.
Population in 1700's- Was not very numerous until the Spanish started to settle there.
