What is this Story Mostly About?
Treasure Island is an adventure story about pirates, treasure, honesty, leadership, and the struggle of growing up. The story begins as young Jim Hawkins' father dies. Jim and his mother continue to run the Family Inn located in Bristol England when the pirate Billy Bones comes to stay with them. Just before Billy dies he gives a map to Jim and the adventures begins.
This wiki was created to help other students who have read Treasure Island gain an better understanding of the book. Each student has researched and has shared their ideas on the story. It is our hope that other students enjoy our thoughts and that this site helps them develop ideas of their own.

These islands, called the West Indies, generally form island arcs that delineate the eastern and northern edges of the Caribbean Sea
