Key Plot Moments

Certain Moments in the story make a difference in the story outcome.
Billy Bones at the "Admiral Benbow"
Billy Bones was looking for an inn he can stay at and he decides to stay at the Admiral Benbow. He demands people to call him “Captain” Captain suffered a stroke. A pirate named Pew slopped a black spot into Bones and left. Later Billy Bones suffers a second stroke and dies.
Examining the sea-chest
Mrs. Hawkins and Jim Hawkins examined the sea-chest. They opened the chest and it had a strong smell of tobacco and tar rose. On top was very nice clothes carefully folded that have never been worn. Under that was a quadrant, a canikant, several sticks of tobacco, two brace of very handsome pistols, a piece of bar silver, and old Spanish watch and some other trinkets of little value and mostly of foreign make, a pair of compasses mounted with brass, five or six curious West Indian Shells.
Securing the crew for the Hispaniola
Jim Hawkins decides to leave his crew without telling them. When he got to the shoreline he found Ben Gunn’s boat he rows to the Hispaniola and frees it so it will drift away. He was getting tired so he fell asleep in the small boat. When he awakens he sees the Hispaniola a half a mile away. So he goes back to the Hispaniola.He acts boldly while he takes down the pirate flag. People see him, and he gets hurt. Jim jumps off the ship and goes to find the doctor.
Jims Voyage to Treasure Island
Jim was on his way to Treasure Island when he wanted and apple and there was only 1 left so he climbed into the barrel and he heard a voice come it was Long John. Jim stayed in the box and he heard Long John talk about talking over the ship. Jim know if Long John found out he heard him Long John would surely kill him. So when Long John left Jim went to tell the captin and they acted like nothing happened.
Jim’s Shore Adventure
Jim went to shore and ran away from Long John Silver. By this time Jim found out that he was a bad man and he feared Long John would killed him. Jim ran as fast as he could to get away from him until he found a place to hide. So he hides and stayed as quiet as he could .From his hiding plsace he saw Long John and a guy. Long John killed the guy. As soon as Long John left, Jim ran into a man named Ben Gunn.
Ben Gunn’s Story
Ben Gunn told Jim his story . He told his crew that there was a treasure on this island and they searched for three days to find it. The crew says if you want to stay you can. So he stayed and the rest of the crew left. He is scrubby looking from staying on this island for three years and now he wants some cheese.
The Defense of the Stockade .
The captain, the squire, Jim, Joyce, and Hunter are taking food from the stockade. They start to hear voices coming near, and Joyce and Hunter could become surrounded. They start their own little shooting war. They are defending it against the guards.
Jim's Sea Adventure
Pirates take over the Hispaniola, and the jolly- boat is wrecked. They are now stranded and starving on the island.
Finding of the Treasure
The treasure was seeing Silver’s green parrot and Captain Flint. The parrot was calling out “Pieces of eight, pieces of eight, pieces of eight …”
